I'll never need a photo to remember this day, but we're so happy to have this one at the moment when husband and wife became mother and father in the delivery room. Esther and I are so happy to introduce the world to Alexander Edward Peloquin. He was born at 2:43pm on January 18th. Despite a due date of February 2, he was born 6 lbs, 15 oz at just over 49 cm in length. I will never be able to describe just how impresses I am by my wife. We arrived on Sunday to the emergency room due to some issues with her blood results. She was hospitalized for the night and at 10:30 on Monday, told they want to induce labor. Instead, she wills her body to deliver without any oxytocin. Calm, strong, poised and relaxed, she even found the time to take a nap and only briefly mentioned any pain. She said it was time and 3 pushes later, we met Alexander. I can only hope that my son will one day have the strength, fortitude and courage that his mother has shown me each day since we've met. Te amo, Esther.
