I took #maliadog for a walk today in John Kenrick Woods in Orleans, MA today right behind my fathers home. I realized we haven’t really been in any forest, surrounded by green since leaving Croatia in 2015. Really miss those daily walks in Zagreb and being surrounded by trees. Sant Cugat was beautiful but like Santiago, everything is an earth tone. It’s so nice o be back surrounded by green trees, squirrels and chipmunks for Malia to chase, even if only for 1 week. I can’t wait to bring Alexander here to enjoy having a forest for a backyard like I did growing up in West Milford, NJ.
